Not so hidden in a corner because of its unique book-shaped rooftop, one finds an otherwise simple igloo. Pingus of Madiba'Tariq waddle through the wide pitch-dark entrance; upon their reappearance their backpacks bulge at the seams from books and scrolls. There is but one dim light flickering deep into the entrance inviting every passerby to take the glide of faith.

Expansion of Knowledge provides a Refuge for the World

Out of the Ordinary

After riding the ice tunnel, the library visitor arrives in a room far deeper than the rest of town — regardless of being surrounded by solid walls of chipped ice, the area is surprisingly warm. Dotted between the shelves stacked with books and scrolls are small fireplaces keeping the space up to temperature and suppressing the humidity so not to damage its invaluable contents. Along with providing heat, these small firery hubs keep the place well relatively well lit to navigate the maze of bookcases that reach as high as the ceiling.
Near various crossings of aisles, or hidden in small corners, little nooks provide a private space to indulge in knowledge; some fitted with a couch, others with a big and puffy chair for one to merge into as they lose their sense of time and space. Nearing the outer sides of the library, one can hear the whispering honks of other Pingus discussing literature and science from the larger conference rooms built specifically to encourage collaboration.
