Operant Director
An Operant Director, known internally as a Director, is a member of the Clade of Operant Drama tasked with orchestrating Drama Plots and leading Actors.
They operate from the shadows, often unseen by others even if they step in and play a role themselves—as often they do choose themselves to play some of the most critical or dramatic roles.
Directors represent one of the most critical infohazards and sources of social disuption of any of the factions. They can turn a world on its ear if they put their mind to it. We have no idea who leads them, no idea what their final goal is, and no idea how many there are.
To make matters worse, they have such a public following (who doesn't even understand them, I might add) that it's not uncommon to see amateurs calling themselves Operant Actors and Directors when, in fact, their are nobody.
They are a faction of phantoms, their director a speaker for the dead.
Directors will canvas a world for a long while and will live incognito among its populace, orchestrating small dramas which set a greater stage for their Magnum Opus performances. What performances they choose, and why, remain a mystery to the greater population to this day.

The Sorrows themselves seem unsure as to whether they should even claim the involvement of the Clade among their ranks. The divisive, uncertain behavior of the Clade often reflects badly back upon the modern Sorrows, many of whom consider their history of social disruption and clandestine operations to be kjust that—history.
