VH: Elven Legacy
Elf
Description
Roleplaying Info
Elves are a long-lived and magical people, though at the end of the day, they are still people. Either through loving unions or adoption, their culture has a way of surviving in the resulting progeny. To this end, it's not uncommon to find "Half-Elves" on many worlds, just as it isn't uncommon to see many of those 'raised by' elves to share some of the same qualities, abilities, and or even fighting styles where permitted. To this end, the Elven Legacy represents people of fey origin in one manner or another. This origin is not entirely determined by blood, as such traits are not inherited through breeding alone.
You Might...
- Keep to yourself and find it difficult to form close bonds with others.

- See you primarily through the lens of your elven heritage.
- Downplay the challenges of being caught between cultures.
Base Talent(s)
You gain the following talents.| Elven Adjustments | Your Elven heritage may have altered you, either being born with such or having gained those traits via supernatural means. Whatever the case, you may gain the following. (These are optional)
|
|---|---|
| Heritage of the Elves | Like others before you, some elven culture has rubbed off on you. You may pick a Heritage from the list of Heritages available to Elves. You gain everything from that Heritage. Additionally, you gain Low-Light Vision if you didn't have such already, as well as the Trance pseudo-origin Talent if you don't already have such. You, also, gain the Elf and the Fey traits. At Character Level 3, you can start picking Ancestry Talents for Elves. At character level 5, you qualify for Ancestry talents for both Elves and or Feyfolk. Finally, your Starting HP from your ancestry is reduced by 2, to a minimum of 4. As this talent is tied to a heritage, it cannot be regained or swapped, unless under specific circumstances. |
