| Weapon Familiarity, Dawn Elf | Dawn Elves have used their magic to shape their worlds and fight effectively when needed. This has lent the Dawn Elf way of life a bent for such weapons, something many elves tend to covet and learn from. You gain proficiency with all Simple Weapons and Martial Weapons weapons from 2 weapons groups of your choice, or from the Advanced Weapons of choice if chosen; from the list below. If you already have proficiency with all Simple and Martial weapons, you gain proficiency with the Advanced weapons of that weapon group.
Additionally, you gain proficiency with any weapon considered ‘Elven’ in nature (example: it has the Elf trait.) Finally, you can use any weapon with the Range ⚙️ or Thrown⚙️ traits as a casting focus, allowing your abilities to inherit all the benefits of your weapon when used for a Spell Attack. These attacks do not consume ammunition, unless you wish them to, allowing them to be imbued with the benefits of the Ammo⚙️. |
