Trait: Ammo⚙️
A weapon with this trait requires the use of Ammunition, or items you must put into the weapon to have it fire. If you don’t keep track of ammo, that’s fine too.
Trait Mechanic⚙️
The weapon uses Ammunition that is appropriate for the weapon (Arrows, Crossbow Bolts, etc).
Additionally, each weapon with this keyword has a # next to it, indicating its Ammo Capacity. Each time you fire the weapon, you expend one ammunition, reducing the current count. Once it reaches 0, the weapon must be reloaded, using an Action / ◈ to do so.
An Ammo of 1 means the weapon must be reloaded after firing it once, while an Ammo count of 10 means that the weapon can be fired 10 times before being fired the 11th time. An Ammo count of 0 means the weapon does not take an action to reload, but must be fed its ammunition from a source (like a quiver, ammo case, or other container).
Finally, Some Ammo can augment the attack, providing special details depending on the type (ex. Dragonfire rounds). Once consumed, ammunition cannot be recovered.
