| Weapon Familiarity, Dusk Elf | Dusk elven cultures often craft ancestral weapons that work well in darkness and the shadows. Such subterfuge is often required to live in harsh environments, and is useful both to the Dusk Elves themselves and also to those they teach such gifts to. You gain proficiency with all Simple Weapons and Martial Weapons weapons from 2 weapons groups of your choice, or from the Advanced Weapons of choice if chosen; from the list below. If you already have proficiency with all Simple and Martial weapons, you gain proficiency with the Advanced weapons of that weapon group.
Additionally, you gain proficiency with any weapon considered ‘Elven’ and 'Subterran' in nature (example: it has the Elf trait.) Finally, you can use weapons from the Stabbing Weapon Group as a casting focus, allowing your abilities to inherit all the benefits of your weapon when used for a Spell Attack. Furthermore, abilities that have "Trickshot" in their name, or are considered "Trickshots," can be used as free actions / ◇, rather than using their action costs. |
