Ability Description

You summon a creature that has the Undead trait to fight for you. You do this by bringing back the dead in a foul mimicry of life, or by using what is left to create life anew.

This creature obeys your every command, or attempt to, unfailingly. The creature remains under command supernaturally, but will need to have your control re-asserted every 24 hours. This can be done by Sustaining | ◈ the spell once in or after that period.

While not maintained, weaker undead will exist for 7 days before perishing, while stronger and/or innately smarter undead will re-assert themselves and be unable to be controlled by this spell.

You can Command | ◇ any undead associated with this spell if the creature is within 120 feet of you (if you control multiple creatures, you can command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same command to each one). You decide what actions the creature will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, the creature only defends itself against hostile creatures. Once given an order, the creature continues to follow it until its task is complete.

Animate
You use the dead to renimate them into simple creatures to use at your behest. You target a number of creatures equal to Half-Proficiency dead creature into your service. The formerly dead creatures live again, but only exists as a Ghoul⤴1, Lesser Zombie⤴1, or Skeleton⤴1 (your choice between the three). The GM might have the creature's statistics.  
Create

Choose up to three piles of material of creatures in range within range. Each body becomes a creature or multiple creatures of your own design, whose combined Threat Level / TL equals that of 0⤴2. The GM has game statistics for these creatures.

 
Raise

You raise a dead creature into your service. The formerly resting creature lives again, functioning as the same creature but with the Undead trait. The creature retains its abilities and attributes; but they cannot use their abilities (if any).

You can only Raise an undead of a TL of 0⤴2.

Each time you need to reassert your control over this creature, you must roll a Knowledge: Esoterica or Spellcraft check vs a DC of 10 + Creature's TL. On failure you lose control of the Undead. On Success the DC goes up by 1, and on Critical Success it does not go up at all.

   

Augmentation + other notes

⤴1/Augment Up: When you cast this spell using a 3rd-level spell slot, you can Animate up to 3 more creatures, and they can be Zombies. When you cast this spell using an 5th level spell slot, you can Animate up to 5 more creatures, and they can be Ghasts. When you cast this spell using a 7th-level spell slot, you can Animate up to 7 more creatures, and they can be Greater Zombies, Wights, or Mummies/Tormented.

⤴2/Augment Up: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the creature's combined TL for Create and Raise increases by +2 for each slot level above 1st, up to your Character Level.
