Red Dragon, Young

A beast of scarlet touches down with a small quake and a frightful roar. Even from here, you can feel the heat it emanates, sweltering scales matching it's deep reds and glinting oranges. It's mouth drips not with saliva, but searing, angry looking magma that clings to anything it touches.
Not the kind that will heal you. More of your common fire, fiery, or furry sort.   Red dragons also get 5 ft extra movement to everything, for obvious reasons.

    Features

    Affinity Anatomy : ~0.0
Within all dragons is a core of magic attuned to an element. This Affinity Core affects their natural weapons and other features they may have, and will be automatically added to their features and actions.   Red Dragons are attuned to the element of Fire, gaining affinity an affinity from volcanic sources within the cores of many worlds.
      Fiery Permeation : ~2.0
Red Dragons absorb the heat of other things around them, despite being hot themselves.   After the Red Dragon uses their Energy Breath weapon, is struck by a Fire effect, or if the temperature around them raises to a high enough to degree (hazard levels), they gain an aura for 1d4 rounds.   Creatures in this aura not resistant to heat or fire take 1d4 Fire damage at the end of their turns. This damage is doubled if they are wearing metal. The dragon itself heals for 8 HP (or an amount of HP equal to their TL) at the start of it's turns.
      Red Tenacity : ~2.0
The Red Dragon is a prideful, almost foolish sort that stems from an innate need to the strongest.   The Red dragon has Expertise in Intimidation checks, as well as gaining an extra 4 health (or proficiency) per level. They are also immune to the freightened condition.

    Actions

    Attacks | ◈ per, up to 3 a turn
The Red Dragon spends actions to attack enemies with their natural weapons. They fight intelligently but brutally, doing their best to overwhelm their enemy with sheer power.
    Dragon Bite | ◈ | Melee Weapon Attack, 10 ft | +10 to hit | Hit: 15 ( 2d8+6 ) Piercing damage + 4 ( 1d6 ) Fire
    Dragon Claws | ◈ | Melee Weapon Attack, 10 ft | +10 to hit | Hit: 15 ( 2d8+6 ) Slashing damage + 4 ( 1d6 ) Fire
    Dragon Tail | ◈ | Melee Weapon Attack, 10 ft | +9 to hit | Hit: 15 ( 2d8+6 ) Bludgeoning damage + 4 ( 1d6 ) Fire
      Energy Breath Weapon, r2 : ~6.0|2⥣|1d6⟳| | ◈-◈◈◈ | Targets Reflex
The dragon exhales a jet of energy based on their Affinity Core that makes every creature in a targeted attempt a Reflex saving throw. The DC is equal to 17 (or 10 + Proficiency + CON). Each creature that fails takes 44 8d8 Fire damage (or, damage equal to 1d8 x TL). On a successful save and critically successful save, they take half or no damage, respectively.   The targeted area starts as either a 30 ft long, 5 ft wide line or a 15 ft wide cone (the dragon chooses on use). The dragon may spend more ◈s to augment the breath weapon, adding another 30 / 15 ft (respectively) to the length of the breath per ◈, or widening the breathe's line/angle by another 10 ft per ◈.   Escalation⥣ and Recharge⟳
Escalation⥣: This action only starts being used after Escalation 2, or Round 2. This creature's Escalation count goes up each time the creature becomes Blockstunned.
Recharge⟳: Once used, this action takes 1d6 rounds before it can be used again. This count goes down once per round each time the dragon critically strikes a target with with a Natural Weapon.
      Tail Lash | ◇ ~2.0
If a creature starts or ends it's turn behind the dragon, they may use their tail instinctively once per round. The dragon's tail swipes behind it (or in a reasonably designated area). On hit, it deals half damage, and the creature struck must pass a Reflex Save vs DC 20 (or 10 + Proficiency + Strength). On failure, the creature is sent flying 20 ft away from the dragon (or proficiency x 5 ft), and they start falling if they weren't already.   This is considered a Reactive Strike.

    -Tactics-

Red dragons are sometimes seen as the most powerful of the chromatics, insofar that they tend to be a jack-of-all-trades more oft than not. Many even defer to the antics of adventurers as a model to follow, often running counter to the plans and ideals to the enemies they commonly face. All told, Red Dragons fight to the death regardless of situation, and either due to their stalwart convictions or their pride prevent them from surrendor.   Red Dragons, despite seemingly like egomaniacs, will work with others to prove themselves. More than anything, a Red Dragon will attempt to amass power to fufill whatever roll they wish to accomplish.   Red Dragons will lair anywhere, particilarly in caves close to mountains or volcanos. Fire doesn't bother them at all, infact helping them thrive.

Adjusting the creature's stats to appropriate Threat levels involves altering the TL, Proficiency Bonus, and damage numbers. This section is a work in progress.
