Nymbats are a special kind of bat that often act as guardians for artifacts or shrines. They're quite intelligent and capable of understanding their role in the grander world, but often tend to avoid people of all stripes unless they need to interact with the outside world. To this end, a nymbat prefers self preservation above all else, and may boast about it's achievements to get predators to shove off.
  Nymbats are quite capable of making friends, as well. That being said, they seldom go on adventure as their sentience is not like that of others. To this end, they must still be Awakened, and often are
