Domain of Battle

The Domain of Battle focuses on combat, glory, and war. Entities of battle may fight for righteousness, or be entrenched in the blood of their enemies. Whatever the case, the Battle Domain is there to strengthen any who wish to fight.
 

Subclass Features

   

(1st) Domain Initiate: Battle

Special: You gain this feature at class level 1 or 2, if the class that gave you this Domain is your 1st class. If not, You do not gain this feature, unless granted by another feature from a class or feat.

You gain an instance of the Armor Training common feature, and the Weapon Specialization primary feat.

 

(1st) Domain Virtues: Passive Bonuses, Bonus Spell availability

Whenever you for damage with a weapon; you add your Proficiency Bonus to the result (before modifiers, such as critical strikes). The bonus damage can be any damage type the weapon produces.

If you are a Mage or Initiator, or if you can cast spells from your class; you may consider any ability from the Abjuration, Outcombat, Swarmfighting, and Warfare traditions to be on your Class Spell List(s) an/or be available choices for your Fighting Styles. Complexity limits remain the same.

 

(2nd) Domain Attunement: Battle

Your ability to fight becomes a bit more masterful.

You gain a Fighting Style of your choice, from the full list of Fighting Styles, and you gain the Focus Point Pool, Half common feature if you don't have it (or the Focus Point Pool, Full if you do). If you have a Companion or Familiar, you can use your spells and maneuvers through them, as if you Commanded them.

Additionally, you may have your weapon attacks echo, striking an enemy twice. As an action / ◈ on your turn, once per turn; you may cause your weapon to deal double damage, including modifiers and other bonus damage.

This feature can be used a number of times per Swift Rest equal to Half-Proficiency

(3rd) Domain Power: Battle

You gain the Domain Ability of Battle, the Strike True unique ability.  

You may touch your or an ally's weapon. The next attack made with that weapon gains a +10 to hit. After the attack lands, the effect ends.

At 5th character level, you can use this as a reaction / ⮌, right before an ally (or you) make an attack.

 

(6th) Aura of Battle

Beginning at 6th class level, you or your companion exude an Aura within 30 ft. All allies within that aura gain a bonus dice to all Saving Throws, and any time they deal damage they deal an extra 1d6 Spirit damage.

(9th) Zeal for Battle

You stoke the righteous anger within yourself and your allies.

Whenever any of your allies within 30 ft of you roll for Combat Initiative, for Healing in Combat, or for damage; they add a bonus dice (base d4) to the roll. The damage can be of any type that comes from the damage source.

Against enemy Undead creatures, damage enhanced from this ability adds an additional 3 stages to the bonus dice bonus dice (base d10).

 

(12th) Divine Piercing

You are no longer playing around, your blows becoming that much more deadly.

Whenever you or an ally within 30 ft of you deals damage, your damage may ignore resistances if the enemy has any. If an enemy would be immune to damage you would deal, they instead take the damage, as if they were Resistant to it. Damage reduction still applies.

Additionally, damage you or your allies deal ignore Blockstun.

 

(15th) Avatar of Battle

Starting at 15th level, you gain Resistance to all damage types. If already have resistance against a certain damage type, you gain Damage Reduction to that type equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
 

(18th) Divine Tenacity

At 18th level, once per week, if you would die from an attack or an effect that would instantly kill you that isn't fall damage, you survive, and your HP is set to 1/4th your Maximum Hit Points (rounded up).

 

(!!th) Subclass Capstone: Warrior's Pinnacle

Your prowess for battle gives you the ability to bypass your limits, like many other warriors. You gain the Warrior's Pinnacle capstone, or your choice of such.

Warrior's Pinnacle

Pick two Attribute Scores of your choice. They increase by +5, and their natural and enhanced maximums are increased by +5 as well (base, +15 and +25 for each).
