Trait: Spirit

Effects with this trait deal spirit damage or target one's very being in a metaphysical sense. Spirit damage is connected to energy (particially) Psionics, though with the difference (and weaknesses) by being more associated with the physical types. As such, it counts as both an Energy Damage Type and a Physical Damage Type, with it’s ability to bypass (or be blocked entirely by) effects depending on the origin.
Classes and Creatures that utilize Spirit often involve the forces of Ki/Qi, or the duality of spirit and the physical in some settings. The bellowing breath of a Purple Dragon's breath inflicts spirit damage.
