Description
You unleash a crackling beam of energy that streaks toward its target. Or targets.
You create two beams↗⇗ when you use this spell, rolling 1 attack roll for both beams. Each beam counts as its own attack, for the sake of triggering effects.
Effects
On hit, creatures take ( 2d6 Spirit or Force Damage (your choice, per beam).
Augmentation + other notes
↗/Augmented by Level: This spell creates more than two beams as you reach higher levels. When you reach Character Level 5, you make 4 beams, 6 at level 11, and 8 at level 17. You roll 1 attack roll for every 2 beams.
⇗/Augmented by Martial Prowess: Increase the amount of beams created by 2 for each instance of the Additional Attack common feature you have. Additionally, if you are trained in Rays, instead of beams that do 1d6 damage each, you can replace each beam with whatever can be used as a Light Ray.
This does mean one can potentially shoot 10 rays that each deal 1d12 , dealing up to 10d12 damage in a turn, before other modifiers. And that is okay.
