Player Flashbacks

As a player have you ever wanted to play out a scene you wrote in your PC's backstory? Now you can.

Here is idea:

The event should run as a one-shot. The event must matter to your character. Anyone at the table can run your flashback, even you. Your character is the only one that is required to be there. The rest of us can play one of the NPCs involved.

The person running the event has only one goal, to make sure to end the session with the same aftermath from your back story. But getting everyone there is entirely up to the GM. The GM should have a lot of fun with this.

Every player's primary character or backup character gains the reward for playing this out for you. You get a more vivid story of an event in your life. Something all the players and fellow characters can relate to.

First Thing

Choose an event in your past that you would like to create or flesh out

You notify the current GM of your desire

Set a time to pause the current game, preferably when the flashback matters, and run this session

Create the needed NPCs, there should be at least one for every player

A GM is needed, this is a good time to have someone try their hand at GMing since the outcome is known, they will only need a path to get there

The GM should create the adventure with some guidance from you as needed

Every player's primary character or backup character gains the CP reward for playing this out for you, even if not present
