Duranáukar (doo-rah-NAH(OO)-kar)
Those Duranni who were seduced by Ahriman and who waited and followed him into Aaroth and Chreösánthunine after the creation of Cimril Arnoth. They did not receive the Sul-Éderos and did not participate in the Creation.
Lesser spirits of the Duranáukar who were once Nessar are sometimes referred to as "fallen Nessar," "corrupted Nessar," or similar descriptions by certain sages and scholars but greater spirits of the Duranáukar who were once Cuenar are universally no longer referred to as, nor counted among, the Cuenar.
