Session 55: New Eyes and Teleportation

General Summary

In the approximately two weeks since Magic left Fika, things have started to calm down. River and Quzal were granted their own house boat by Otto, Meltrin got his new eye installed in New Lanass. An update has been heard from Nimbus, and Death visited delivering letters from those were were saved by Mystra, and advising that 12 thousand people in total would be lost at Nimbus. The party is finally given another task to make their way to Agzar. David takes the party to New Lanass to get a teleportation cube that allows the party to teleport to any location saved within. Meltrin sets one up to the center of New Lanass, and David returns them to Alnerwick where Meltrin sets up another teleportaion spot in the Quiet Moon.

Session Report

Day 3 without magic. No sign of Abraxas. River tries to unbend her trident. Instead they go to a local black smith, who will charge 100 gp to have it done in an hour. It is then that River remembers Alynys' father is good with weapons and things, and takes it to him in stead. He said that he can hopefully get it done today if River will purchase the materials he needs. He is successful in straightening out the trident.

Day 5: Otto gives River and Quzal a house boat. Two bathrooms. Four bedrooms.

Day 6: Meltrin gets his new eye. Nimbus update: engines in place, overheated. Upto 9K dead. Plan to have back up in the sky in 5-6 months. could be shorter depending on what happens.

Day 7: Meltrin returns to Alnerwick with David. David needs to talk to council.

Day 8: A single smaller droid comes into town and attacks Alnerwick. Similar in design to the last droid the party fought in the Cataclysm boulder. The party is able to take care of it. Abraxas does take an apparence. Hades lets Abraxas know his brother is safe. Abraxas leaves again. After the battle Alnerwick is in a bit of a frenzy. Both excited an scared at the same time.

Day 9: mysterious woman magically appears. She tries to walk to Luna, Nori, and Michael. Several people get in the way, Nori insists they get out of her way. She asks to be taken upstairs to Ink and the others. Nori asks why. Mystra says Alynys would vouch for her but with her current state...The party is called to go up with Mystra, Michael, Nori and Luna. Mystra explains the current situation. The droid was successful in blocking the magic upto a mile off of each shore is cut off of magic. Fika is in a dark age in this moment. She's lucky to even be here. Mystra admits that she's no longer a god, and now a mortal. Mystra can cast up to 3rd degree of magic.

Day 10: River reads the manual. Hades and Zulo work on their gun proficiency. Meltrin looks for a Marquesan book, David helps him get it.

Day 11: End of day River helps Meltrin learn Marquesean. Hades changes his shoes.

Day 13: Individual rides into town on a white stallion. Walks into the bar, looks at Michael, asks for food and heads upstaris. Someone tries to stop him only to fall dead. He eats a ton of greasy food and delivers letters for Cynthia, two for Mael, Gowther, and Luna.

Day 14: Johann summons the party. Asks the party to escort him to Cindurria. The party turns him down.

Day 15: Michael has a mission for the party. Asks them to go towards Agzar. Michael points out that David could help them get places faster. Materials are gathered from Fenquen Manor. A somber celebration is had in honor of Alynys' birthday. The party goes to New Lanass. They are taken to the scientific workshop. A teleportation device is requested and paid for by David. A portal device is crafted. A tiny box, 3x2x1, to activate it there are 3 buttons on top. When setting a destination you have to be there. Click and hold the first button for 5 seconds. To select a location, second button. Third button activates it. Abraxas asks about other ways to get up to Bries, known as Spector now.
