Spectera

Those guys? I think they are from Rant. It's hard to tell though. There are a lot of species from other planets that look the same. Ears like that are apparently common.

The Spectera is a sapient species native to the planet of Rant. They are one out of two sapient species on this planet. Like the Dragons they have a second form, but unlike the Dragons the Other shape of the Spectera might or might not be natural. It's the condition of their magical use.
All Spectera have a mental link with their God and Goddess which means that they can communicate personally with them. One Spectera can also relay a message they have to another Spectera who is across the planet from them through their God or Goddess.

Magic

The Spectera were very well versed in the use of magic, however, since their God decreed that magic was not to be used they lost their ability and knowledge to use it. Only one ethnicity of Spectera, the Saquron retained their abilities and have since then learned even more magick with the introduction of magick from other planets. Many Spectera from other ethnicities want to relearn the use of magic now, but most of the Saquron refuse as the other ethnicities treated them badly when they refused to adhere to their own God's decree.

Anatomy

They are bipedal humanoids with two feet, two legs, a torso, two arms, two hands a neck, and a head. Their rounded ears are proportionally large compared to their heads, and they are relatively short compared to other species in this universe. Their skin color is a spectrum from pale beige to black and they can have any hair color. Though, the most common hair colors are on the spectrum of dark brown to wine red. Their eye colors are usually black, pink or purple.
The men of the species is larger than the females and have more robust features. Their magic is also different colors. Females usually have warm colors, while males have cold colors. The men usually can't grow their hair longer than to the chin either. While the hair of the females grows like weed. Neither males nor females have hair on their face but other body parts can be hairy.
