Cluttercoins are ornate, dull and tarnished coins that are kept to bring more of its kind. It comes from the known truth that "clutter attracts clutter", so by having a cluttercoin in your pocket or purse, your wealth will only accumulate over time!
Cluttercoins are often seen at the bottom of fountains as dark brown or black surrounded by much shinier coins.
