Brief History
The Lysareon are a modest house with their eyes fixed very much on greatness. They are ambitious and willing to take risks which can make them unpredictable at best. They used this to their advantage well up to the first turtle war. Their words are “Seize the moment”. Their colours are blue and gold.
The Lysareon name was not spoken in the higher circles. They usually lived in the shadow of a greater family of dragon lords. Assisting and gaining favour where they could. They have never been the most powerful nor wealthiest but they have fought and strived to change this. Recently after the opening of the outpost of Volantis they established their own outpost Volon Therys at the mouth of the Rhoyne.This venture was assisted by the Daeraeris family and their military strength. All was going well until the first turtle war. The Lysareon family sent only one dragon to assist and that was not enough considering the water magic used by the Rhoynish. After the fall of Volon Therys, the Daeraeris family saw this as a breach of contract and due to their losses they sought compensation from Lysareon that was not forthcoming. Now they share no love for each other. They have meager holdings, mainly Lys and Elyria but have lost Volon Therys who now seek patronage elsewhere.
Presently, their focus lies in forging a marital alliance with the Qarralis family, to whom they have expressed interest in extending their patronage to.
