Given the opportunity to accompany the rest of her family at the Valyrian Freehold, Volon Therys and the rest of her trials & tribulations still linger in the depths of her mind. Appearance And Character
Aethena is a Darkskin woman much like her mother and father. Her eyes hues of vibrant violet reflect the wild spirit that dwells within behind them. Her hair is formed of loose curls that drapes over her shoulders and cascades down her back, covering the scarification inflicted on her by her father. To compliment her agility Aethena is slender framed making her rather difficult to hit.

Early Life
Aethena's early life was marred by a tumultuous family environment. Born to Aelyx and Saehra Lysareon, her father was a harsh figure haunted by the past, often pitting the children against each other, while her mother, Saehra, navigated the complexities of their family dynamics. Aethena showed traits of her father but carried her mother's sun-kissed skin tone. Her childhood was marked by abuse and a quest for validation in her father's eyes, leading to a desperate act that altered the course of her family's fate.
The Harbinger meets Algarreon
At the age of eight, Aethena fearlessly bonded with Algarreon, a dragon known for its ferocious and malicious nature. Despite the dragon's intimidating size and hostile demeanor, Aethena displayed remarkable courage and respect. Instead of cowering in its presence, she approached Algarreon with an open heart, showing genuine affection and understanding. Aethena's unwavering determination and ability to connect with the dragon defied the odds, leading to a unique and profound bond that transcended fear and showcased her exceptional fearless character.
Tears of False Sentiment
Aethena's relationship with her father was fraught with cruelty and harsh expectations. Her father, Aelyx Lysareon, was haunted by the past and displayed a lack of mercy, often subjecting Aethena and her siblings to intense competition and punishment. This environment drove Aethena to strive for his approval, but his relentless criticism and abuse left scars. Eventually, Aethena's anger and frustration reached a tipping point, and she confronted her father, leading to a violent altercation that resulted in her fleeing from home.
Following her departure, Aethena's mother, Saehra, had to endure the wrath of Aelyx.When returning home Aethena was informed of her mother’s departure, in her mother’s absence Aethena was punished for running away. Her father’s demise was met with tears that covered smiles of relief behind them. When Saehra sought refuge from the torment by leaving, she tragically passed away shortly after returning home after hearing about Aelyx’s death.
Later Years
This loss devastated Aethena and fueled her anger further, leaving her desperately seeking outlets to cope with her grief and rage. The toxic combination of her troubled past and the traumatic events surrounding her family pushed Aethena to find ways to channel her emotions and navigate her tumultuous journey towards healing.
