Head of Family
Eileithyria Lysareon, the first born daughter of Aelyx Lysareon and Saehra Lysareon. Head of the Family of Lysareon, dragon rider of Xyris, and a warrior of the spear was sculpted by the guidance of her father and love of her mother. As the eldest child of the Family Lysareon she ascended to the seat at the age of twenty-four and faced trials and tribulations of both personal and political nature that shaped her into the woman she is today. Known for her decisive execution she has never failed to measure up next to men.
Appearance And Character
Eileithyria embodies the mixed heritage of her family, unlike pure-blood Valyrians, she is adorned in dark opulent skin with golden undertones, dark violet eyes filled with lighter hues that look like stars over a midnight sky and long silver hair that contrats her dark skin giving it a luminous effect. At six-foot-two she is a lengthy woman with a slender but full frame that compliments her figure. With a strong jaw-line accompanied by a broad nose and high cheekbones it gives her a strikingly sharp and exotic appearance that most would find intimidating.
Eileithyria preferring her dragon, books, and blades over the company of people she’s remained emotionally detached, allowing very few individuals to broach that border, often being referred to as the Untouchable. However, with a skillful tongue and self-awareness she is capable of creating bonds with meaningful strength and longevity. Loyal to her family above all else she hopes to one day return them to former glory, but first she must seal the cracks and restore strength.
History
Early Life
Eileithyria was born in 4818 coming into this world during the eruption of a volcano, earning her the name Fireborn. Following her birth two years later she was accompanied by her sister Xyvareth Lysareon (Age 30). Six years later her sister Aethena Lysareon (Age 26) and half-sister Nesaesanne Lysareon (Age 26), before long her half-brother Timaeus Lysareon (Age 25), Luciron Lysareon (Age 24) and half-brother Lucelon Lysareon (Age 24) joined them. Though she was never close with her siblings outside of Xyvareth and Aethena she cared for them.
As a girl she was always interested in the pursuit of knowledge with equal interest in martial combat, to which her father and mother fostered. As a dutiful daughter she was heavily favored by her parents, but Eileithyria had shown an aptitude for violence which was quilled by the practice of religious ritual and sacrifice, taking her dedication to the Gods seriously. By the age of eleven Eileithyria had bonded with her dragon Xyris of whom was hatched upon the same day of her birth, the two always shared an uncanny connection that was only confirmed when they bound.
By the age of thirteen Eileithyria had developed into a beautiful young woman, growing tall and thin with luminous silver locks that flowed down to her knees and dark opulent skin. Though Eileithyria held little interest in the opposite or same sex the attention of Lords had greatly increased and talk of marriage had become a common subject, but like all Dragonlord Houses Eileithyria was destined to wed one of the same blood.
Never one for ideas of love Eileithyria was prepared to do her duty for family and land, behaving beyond her years, but love had found her in the form of her cousin Vaelarr Lysareon. By the age of sixteen both had become utterly smitten with one another and despite the odds they were allowed to wed the following year. Ensnared by love and consumed by passion the pair were rarely seen apart, conceiving their first child in the year that followed.
Era of Tragedy
At the age of twenty-four Eileithyria was happily married with three children, but with the death of her father she was quickly thrust into her inherited position. There was great speculation as to who murdered her father, but due to the circumstances no investigation or consequences were ever delivered. Instead, Eileithyria focused on repairing the damage her father had left behind, starting with reuniting her family.
For four years she focused on stabilizing and reestablishing her family's good-name. At the age of twenty-eight Eileithyria had proven herself a true Dragoness, ruthless and precise in every decision, earning a reputation that garnered respect and fear, bringing a new to the Lysareon name like her Great-Grandmother before her. With a full heart and belly Eileithyria was prepared to take on the world, but the Gods would take great pleasure in reminding her of her humanity when the waves of a storm swept away her husband and children. Grief stricken and heartbroken Eileithyria fell ill to her plight and soon after the Gods added insult to injury by taking the child within her belly.
Bonding
At the age of eleven Eileithyria bonded to her dragon Xyris. The two had always shared a deep connection given the time of their birth was upon the same day, some of her family believing that it was her birth that hatched the egg. Being forced to wait until the coming of age (her first bleed) her father wanted to ensure his heir would bond to a dragon, though her mother had little fear that she wouldn’t. With preparation and time the bonding ritual was to take place directly after, but Eileithyria could not wait for such an event to occur. The one time she disobeyed her father was in this matter, a need had filled her up and consumed her thoughts until she found herself at the pits where Xyris was waiting, with not a single word spoken between the two she climbed upon his back and took to the skies, not returning until late the following evening. With the success of her bonding it marked the beginning of a new era for the Lysareon Family.
Later Years
For the past four years Eileithyria has managed to push through the pain of her loss and channel it into the fuel she needs to thrive. Despite her cold and cruel deposition she understands people and is capable of making meaningful and powerful connections regardless of their nature. Though a shrewd woman of politics she remains a friend to the people and seeks new and inventive ways to ensure their continued support, for it is not that she loves her family less’ just that she loves the Freehold more.
