Try to yell for help #41

“This…is not good,” you sigh. The drinks are really kicking in and your legs feel weak.   “I think going to our rooms would have been a better idea,” shrieks Valda as the red-headed man rushes her. He tries to grab her, but the lithe Gypsy side-steps, grabs one of the hammers hanging from the posts and clobbers him in the shoulder.   You hear a crunching sound on impact.   “ARGH!” he yells, “You witch!”   Valda runs around to stand behind Dorbane, who holds his axe up…swaying on unsure feet.   “Now don’t go playin’ boy, when ya should be workin!” reprimands the Sargent. “Come now, Burt—let the boys do their thing, willya?” And at that, the blacksmith mutters under his breath and throws the sword he was working on into the coals. He throws the hammer onto the ground and marches out, angry.   “Oh don’t be that way, Burt—the boys’ll clean up after themselves this time.” He turns back to your aggressors, “Won’t you boys!?”   “Sir, yes sir!” they shout in unison.   “We’ll feed them to the hogs when yer done, alright?” With a wave, the Sargent backs out of the shop and the other set of doors slams shut.   “Helllp!” Valda yells. She looks at you, then at the devious grin of the red head man. Her eyes widen and she breaks into a frantic. “HEELLLLLPPPP!” she screams louder.   “Ain’t gonna work,” chuckles the raven-top. He swings at you clumsily with his mace, taking a chunk off the stone wall of the forge. “Lots o’traitors yell when we work ‘em. People don’t listen no more.” He gives you a snarl and swings again, this time coming closer to your face. “You’d have to start a fire to attract attention ‘round here!”   Hmmm, that gives you an idea.   While Valda and Dorbane dance with the red head, you lure the witty thug closer to the open forge. It’s set low, with a diameter of at least five feet. More than a dozen strips of metal are buried in the glow of the coals. So you dance and weave and taunt until the thug finally swings like the champ he is.   The mace lands on one of the metal strips, launching fire into his face and over against the wall of the building. He screams, dropping the mace to grab his own flesh. This gets the attention of the red head, who turns just long enough for Dorbane to pummel him in the head with the butt of his axe.   Valda kicks the giant brunette in the groin and sends the brute stumbling backwards, into the forge, flipping over the edge. To compliment her effort, you calmly pick up the mace and clobber your foe in the back of the head, sending him, unconscious and face first, into the flames as well.   Whoops…didn’t mean to do that.   Rolling in hysterical agony, the redhead leaps from the flames and knocks through the second set of doors open. He only makes it a few yards before he collapses on the ground.   Soldiers run to investigate, but you’re already gone.   "Forget the military, let’s get out of here!"
