Irdu River
The River of Life.
As one of the largest rivers on the continent of Humär, the Irdu River provides both water and food to a score of villages along its route in the Tilliman Highlands.
Starting from Binmeer Lake, the river weaves through dense forest areas, around a mountain range, including Mt. Ango, past the farming community of Eläm.
The Irdu is known for its dense population of mountain trout, which also attracts a large number of predatory animals to its banks.
Nearly sixty years ago, the Irdu was also known to yield gold and silver from its beds, though this has not been reported in recent years.
