Events from the SDL
Sparnell Armed Forces bombard Loxira for days, destroying cities and killing countless people.
Mel Rahna is born on the Space Defense Legion planet of Kriea.
The SDL border planet of Nadala is conquered by the Hydell Order, beginning their extended occupation.
Enraged at the Hydell Order's assault and subsequent occupation of Nadala, the Legion declares war on the Order, thus beginning eight years of conflict.
The Legion repels an attack on Kriea by the Hydell Order. Despite the Order's failure to claim the planet the Legion losses are high, including to the civilian population after a section of Shielding collapsed during the assault. The Legion rebuilds Kriea's infrastructure quickly, but can do little to comfort those mourning their loved ones.
Nadala is returned to the Legion after eight years in the hands of the Order, as part of the agreement to end the interfactionary war.
