Krollburg Castle

A Famous Castle

The Krollburg is a castle originally built in the days of Hod. It is situated on a precipice about 1350 ft. high, located to the southwest of and overlooking the town of Eisenach in the country of Krottweil, Central Huraedon. It was the home of St. Elisabeth of Worcs and the site of the annual Krollburg Burning Festival, and the setting for the legendary Sängerkrieg -- the Battle of the Bards. Although the castle today still contains substantial original structures from the Years of Hod, much of the interior dates back only to the past century.
