An ex-privateer of the Tanzian crown, she took up this profession because her family is not the most respected. They are suspected to have Sluagh in their background, and thus she was barred from joining the Tanzian Navy. Tylara joined the AIN, when the opportunity came along, in order to gain lands and see the stars. She was surprised when both her parents and older brother were killed in a fire barely a year after she joined the AIN. She inherited the the title Baroness and the family's holdings, including lands in Tanzia and a colonial property in the Sunset Isles. She remains something of a maverick, but her proven leadership has allowed her to advance rapidly to the rank of Captain. Her adaptability led to her being given command of the A.I.N.S. Stalwart, an experimental ship. Her leadership also inspired Admiral Starslash to assign the Stalwart as a training ship for some of the Midshipmen from the Egneivis Naval Academy.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Tylara is a short, yet somewhat curvy Alfar with exteremly pale skin and dark, bluish=black hair. She has ice- blue eyes which are flecked with the palest of gold flecks. Her most distinctive feature is the black, four-pointed star tattooed over her left eye.

She is generally in uniform, though her executive officer often complains that this is not actually the case. When off duty, she often reverts to he near-piratical privateer wardrobe.

Tylara is brash and impulsive, yet she has the rare ability to keep her head when all about her are losing theirs. She brings this cool ratinality to her method of leadership, yet possesses a fiery spirit which manifests itself in speech and deed, especially during combat.

Tylara does not suffer fools gladly, and she can have a short fuse. However, she cherishes peoples rights and freedoms. She cannot tolerate bullies and bigots. She will go out of her way to ensure that people suffering under prejudice are given a fair opportunity.
