Winged cats are domestic cats with feathery, birdlike wings. As individual pets, they can be cute and affectionate. In feral colonies, they can be disastrous in a port, causing havoc and destroying valuable fish cargoes.

Celestial bees are a species of bee that grows to enormous proportions. They appear to be unique to Trees of Life and possibly Ironwood Trees. Fortunately, they are patient and good-natured, and may be sapient.

A space narwhal is a spacefaring mammal with a superficial resemblance to maritime narwhals. It is known for its unique "unicorn horn," which is actually a modified tusk. This horn contains enough Starmetal that it is a temptation for poachers.
