Infernals of Damnation | Thicket of Thorns

Infernals of Damnation

The angels who revolted during The Original Fall dared to do the impossible: they stood up against an all-powerful deity. They saw the injustice done to them and confronted god, fully expecting to be crushed immediately. For one reason or another, they were made to Fall, but weren't destroyed outight.   The Infernals of Damnation are the Infernals (and a few others) who hold the idea of god's omipotence to be an absolute truth. They see themselves as victims of the deity's plans, forced to suffer because of this oppression. Their response is to never stop fighting the injustice they percieve themselves to have been dealt. If god wants to silence them, it will have to be through destruction because they will never yield.   The ultimate act of rebellion against god would be the destruction of creation. The infernal damned tryu to corrupt anything and everyone they can and destroy the rest. Whether the Thicket of Thorns can be used to destroy all in the end, or if it's a plot by god to hurt those who dare explore outside the divine plan leads to intense arguments.

Symbols and Expressions

Those who identify with the movement carry symbols used by religions associated with the god of Keter, but all of them defiled. They sometimes apply things to their skin to make it a strong red to sybolise how they bleed for their impossible cause.

Corruption

Humanity represents the greatest affront to Infernals that god ever created and as such, they deserve pain and destruction. To show just how destructive and terrible the species is will be the most important goal of any infernally damned who has the chance to deal with them. This is especially true when it comes to any human of faith. Those who foolishly think that god will protect them deserve no sympathy.   As much as they hate god, the faction has realised how much they can abuse others' faith. When they are on earth, taking on roles that allow them to twist religion are often favourites. They don't care all that much about specific dogma since the point is to make those who believe suffer and destroy themselves for that betrayal against the Infernals.
