Thaczil ek Silitic

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Thaczil ek Silitic, best translated from Draconic to Lingua Imperial as Lands of the Servants.   The land is a vast and rugged landlocked region defined by its unique and often unforgiving terrain. The absence of coastal access (since there are cliffs at the minimum height of 250 ft') has forced its inhabitants to thrive using the resources of the land alone, shaping their society around the challenges of their environment.

Geography

The Broken Spine Range
A series of jagged mountains that dominate the northern and eastern edges of the land. The Broken Spine serves as both a natural barrier and a source of mineral wealth, with rich deposits of iron, copper, and rare gemstones hidden deep within its rocky heart.
The Ashen Lowlands
Located south of the Broken Spine, these flat, volcanic plains are characterized by blackened soil and sporadic hot springs. While the land is difficult to cultivate, it holds great geothermal potential, which the people of Arkza have begun to harness.
The Crimson Barrens
A vast, arid expanse in the western reaches of the land. Red-hued soil, sparse vegetation, and sporadic canyons define this region. Nomadic groups traverse the barrens, espacially travelers from The Yirrithis Brotherhood, eking out an existence by herding animals and mining small veins of precious minerals.
The Sapphire Cradle
A lush valley nestled between two mountain spurs in the central region. Fed by a network of underground springs and rivers, it is the most fertile area in Thaczil ek Silitic and serves as the breadbasket of the land. Crops such as hardy grains, root vegetables, and medicinal herbs are cultivated here, which are then transported to The League of Gnomir.
The Mirror Plateau
A reflective, rocky expanse in the south, named for the gleaming mica and quartz deposits that scatter sunlight across its surface. The plateau is also home to ancient ruins, believed to date back to the colony's era under the Old Ansko Empire,
The Verdant Scar
A dense and winding forest that stretches along the western borders. Though its thick canopy offers an abundance of timber, game, and medicinal plants, it is also filled with venomous creatures and deep ravines.

Climate

Thaczil ek Silitic presents a land of climatic extremes, where the harsh winters of the Broken Spine, punctuated by frequent snowstorms, stand in stark contrast to the scorching summers and meager rainfall of the Ashen Lowlands and Crimson Barrens. Meanwhile, the Sapphire Cradle enjoys a more benevolent, temperate climate, perfect for cultivating the land, while the Mirror Plateau and Verdant Scar endure the dramatic shift of extreme temperature fluctuations between the heat of day and the chill of night.
