The signatory organisations & involvements of the Astrakkhan Concordats of 1721 include all those organisations that were involved in the drafting and signing of the aforementioned documents. They met at the Diplomatic Conference for the Establishment of International Concordats for the Protection of Victims of War, which was held in the city of Astrakkhan and convened by the Vechian Federal Institution, between the dates of 30th Nevehrun to 2nd Nevaug in 1721. This conference for the final revisions of the drafts for the four Concordats remains the largest diplomatic gathering on the continent of Vehasi in history. Diplomats from seven nations, nine secular and government-agnostic organisations of interest, and eleven religious and holy organisations spanning the continent, were present for the drafting of the Concordats, with thirty-six total organisations present for the final conference; seven nations, fourteen non-governmental organisations, and eleven religious organisations signed the four Concordats.

The Committees

During the Conference, four Committees were convened to discuss the revisions of each of the four Concordats. Each Committee was attended by a representative of each of the involved and attending organisations. Individuals attending Committees within their respective areas of expertise. The first committee was for the revision of Concordats I and II. The second was for the revision of Concordat III, and the third was for the revision of Concordat IV. Lastly, the Joint Committee was convened to deal with provisions common to the four Concordats. Coordination and drafting Committees met towards the end of the Conference, to harmonise the four texts. When necessary, the Committees formed Working Parties.

Date of Finalisation

On the final day of the Conference, representatives of each signatory organisation convened for a final reading of the four Concordats. After the documents were read in full, each organisation with a representative present signed the documents. According to their provisions, the new Astrakkhan Concordats came into force four months after the deposit of at least two instruments of ratifications. Afterwards, they came into force for each signatory part four months after it was ratified.

Signatory Governments

All seven nations of Vehasi were present for the revisions of and signatories of the Astrakkhan Concordats. Reuni sent ten diplomatic representatives, and Vechia sent twelve. Mestrania, Eclania, and New Vransi sent five representatives each. Dostros sent four representatives, and Khastoro sent two. In addition, each nation chose a diplomatic representative from their primary institutions of health and of healing. Eclania sent a representative from the Church of Khisteus. Mestrania sent a member of the nation's Swanshield. Vechia sent a representative from the Vechian Department of Religion and Health. Reuni sent a member of the Office of Knightly Orders and War Priesthoods of Reuni, New Vransi sent a representative from the Church of Conzotl, and Khastoro sent a representative of their Leafsworn Priestesses. Lastly, Dostros sent the druidic Circle of Warfare. Each nation and associated government was heavily involved in the drafting, revision, and finalisation of the Concordats, as requested by the Vehasic Interdeific Committee of the Core Union of Gods. In particular, Vechia and Reuni played large parts in providing experts for the purposes of drafting and revision, as well as providing transportation and funding. Eclania coordinated alliances between the religions of the continent and ensured peaceful interactions between the organisations. Dostros and New Vransi were generous enough to provide catering and location organisation. Vechia, Dostros, Eclania, and Reuni each hosted locations for the conferences leading up to the final Diplomatic Conference for the Establishment of International Concordats for the Protection of Victims of War.

Signatory Religions

All eleven religious organisations worshipping the ten Core Deities as well as Myldala were involved in the drafting, revision, and signing of the Concordats. The Vehasic Interdeific Committee of the Core Union of Gods, an alliance of key members of each, was the primary organisation driving the formation of the Concordats. The churches of Lillon, Ehrendil, Golgash, Tithys, and Maug - the Paragons of Balance, the Children of Ehrendil, the Faithful of the Spreading Church, the Congregation of Blood, and the Observance of the Everlasting Vigil respectively - each sent six representatives to the conference. The church of Myldala, the Children of the Weave, sent five representatives. The churches of Conzotl, Pherynne, and Syrenna - the Church of Conzotl, the Faith of the Falling Star, and the Creed of the Ethereal - sent four representatives each. Khisteus' church, the Church of Khisteus, and the church of Atharon, the Devout of the Disfavoured God, sent no more than one representative, to the knowledge of the conference organisers. Each aforementioned church sent one individual to act as signatory on behalf of their organisation on the final day of the conference.

Signatory Organisations

Fourteen organisations, societies, alliances, and guilds not connected to any existing governmental or religious organisation signed the Astrakkhan Concordats. These organisations were the Association for the Protection of Children in War, the Association for the Regulation of Psychological and Psychomorphological Practices, both Magical and Non-magical, the Circle of High Archmages, the Coalition for Non-Magical Healers, the Cobalt Sun, the Establishment for the Protection of Refugees, International Vehasic Aid, the Pan-Vehasic Refugee Council, Picture of Peace, the Society of Knighthood and Paladinship, the Union of Unaffiliated Knights, the Vehasic Alliance of Adventuring Guilds, the Vehasic Funerary Institute, and the Vehasic Institution for Crisis Relief. Each organisation was invited to send up to two representatives. The VICR, the PVRC, and the IVA each sent one diplomatic representative to the conference. The UUK, the SKP, the VFI, the ARPPP, and the Cobalt Sun did not send representatives to the conference, but sent individuals to act as signatories for their respective organisations. The remaining organisations each sent two representatives to the conference.

Look at all those stubs. This seems like a pivotal piece of worldbuilding. Colour me intrigued.

the religions and gods should be coming soon, seeing as how they are incredibly relevant and plot-important. the interdeific committee should also be coming vaguely soon, as should each of the nations (and the organisations tied directly to them). i'm dreading having to write the article on vechia, though, so many moving parts. anyways, most of the stuff under signatory organisations will probably just get a stub, lol. the UUK and SKP and maybe the VFI are the only ones (other than the Cobalt Sun which already has an article) that are likely to get a full article.

I'm working on the article for the Astrakkhan Concordats currently, and I can tell you right now that one's going to be a long one. It's at 5k words currently and I'm about halfway through the first Concordat - it'll probably be a While before that one gets published, lol.

Have a wonderful day!

Long articles are such a trial to write but also so rewarding. Good luck! :D
