The Cogni Agum
I found out that Tenny had been a student of the Cogni Agum today. I don't know whether to celebrate this fact, or treat him with greater caution. An equal measure of horrors and miracles have come from that place of knowledge.

Purpose / Function
To preserve as much useful knowledge from the immortal ages as well as to pursue the new avenues of research created by the release of Death. Funds research projects developed by it's mostly gnomish student body and faculty, sometimes illegally.
Architecture
The university is built into the northeastern side of the volcano Ilsaka's walls, constructed almost entirely by Gnomes during the first few years after Death. The passage ways are low and the rooms are square and efficient, with minimal decoration.
History
Cogni Agum was started by a group of veteris gnomes shortly after the release of Death to preserve as much knowledge of the universe as possible, and it is still run by most of the original founders. Both The Runeflower that hangs above the city providing light, and the Great Clock by the northern edge of the city were built by the members of the Cogni Agum with approval from the Forge Council.
The university is also known for its occasional disasters caused by illegal research or experiments run amok. Though watched closely by the Forge Council and the Old Dwarven Government, many gnomes manage to carry on with their forbidden study within its twisting halls and many rooms.
