Commander McCox Gerald Alexander McCox (a.k.a. Commander, McCox)
A Commander at W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P.. He is the lead official over the agents stationed at Jack Pine Tower in Maryland, along with a few remote operatives scattered and disbursed all over the world.

Commander McCox has won several awards; some from various competitions and events he attended before his tenure at W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P., and many that were presented to him on account of accomplishing so much as Commander at Jack Pine. No matter the origin, McCox proudly displays every trophy, plaque, medal, and note of recognition he owns all around his office. Don't stare at one too long or he will notice your interest and stop whatever he is doing to give you the entire backstory on how he earned it.

Commander likes to go on tangents, though he won't admit when he does end up taking the conversation down a random rabbit hole. Surprisingly, he openly declares his annoyance with others going on tangents, especially about subjects he knows little of.
He enjoys decorating his workspace, sprucing it up for holidays, or simply reorganizing paperwork, shuffling the art, and rearranging his various awards and medals.

Family Ties
The Commander never seen without a silver wedding band adorning his left ring finger. He references his wife several times, though none of his agents can confidently say they've met her. The most believed rumor is that she is stationed as a Commander in another district, but some think she is an agent herself, possibly a person who works at Commander's very own Jack Pine Tower office location.
Social Aptitude
Commander McCox is a talkative man. When it comes down to it, he will get to the point so that business can proceed. But, at other times (especially when feeling bored of his monotonous day or lonesome in his corner office) he will carry whomever he is currently speaking with (be it over the phone or in person) away with him on an extensive tangent. This trait seems to be a common factor amongst W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P.'s Commanders in general, so it is unclear whether this habbit was developed after being employed at the organization, or if it was a common behavior even before taking his position at the agency. It is a common joke that W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. intentionally only hires talkative tangent-prone individuals into the Commander position to help keep agents alert and on their toes.
Hobbies & Pets
Commander has a plethora of hobbies that seem to slowly get revealed every time one steps into his office and becomes the next victim of one of his lengthy tangents. He enjoys golfing, old-fashioned cars, collecting bottle caps, and repairing vintage music boxes.
Speech
Commander McCox has a very calm, formal voice, but can amplify his tone to convey anger, annoyance, or impatience. He hardly ever yells. Instead, he commands authority and respect by keeping his cool at all times and remaining focused, leaning navigating the balance between casual, direct, and urgent as appropriate. He also maintains a sense of power and consistency by referring to everyone by their last name most of the time.
