Elliot Canyon

Elliot Canyon lies near the south of the continent Sanguin, and is a particular place of interest for ruin delvers and scientists. The bizarre 'shifting sands phenomenon' means that the landscape of Elliot Canyon is forever changing. Sometimes one might find a particular ruin, only to retrace their steps a day later and never find it again. This makes the land extremely dangerous, and only the most foolhardy and/or foolish dare venture in.
But the reward for those who do and survive? Possible untold riches!
Outside of Sanguin, researchers and collectors pay a high price for artefacts from the Old Ones, especially those that give a glimpse on what life was like back thousands of years ago before humanity and Gaia herself suddenly changed forever.

The premise of the spin off visual novel, Sand, is to find valuable artefacts, so that Joshua can afford essential medicine for his sister and himself.
