The Outside

The Outside is the region of space where many universes exist alongside each other. Endless, there are hundreds upon hundreds of universes located in The Outside; all containing hundreds of worlds in their own right. In each universe, there is a specific focal point where the connections between each universe is close; allowing seamless travel between them through various means. Its great expanse means that there are thousands of different worlds out there ripe for exploration, both living and dead. The afterlives of these universes are in the hundreds upon thousands,
The Outside is composed of a vast; endless void; with universes scattered throughout it. Between most of the universes are massive; inky; blue clouds of gas. Occasionally, these clouds of gas will compress and form a new universe. Each universe can have a parallel world, often created by a massive change in the main universe's timeline; usually at its focal point. While the number of parallels are limitless, more often than not they will be devoured and forgotten by the void; with the major parallel universes remaining. Scattered throughout the massive void are large cracks of magical energy, burning white as it gives away to an inky black darkness of corruption. As one wanders throughout the various universes, they will discover that they are but one among many in The Outside, with everything happening around them nonstop, without rest, without ending. The world that they knew of in the past is constantly changing, as they stand in the void.

The Set Of Nine

The Set Of Nine is a nickname used by those whom wander in The Outside, referring to the nine universes whose fates are closely intertwined with each other. Originating with the main universe within it, each universe around it has come one after another. The first universe that was created would be The Wasteland, while the most recent one created is one of two alternate timelines that have split off from the main universe, The Galactic Frontier.
