Interdimensional Library of Xoligsisar

"A map? What good would that do here? We have an entire section of those if you're looking for particular one." She stops."First time? Have you seen our catalogs before?"
Suzatrupsipsu to The Ponderer during his first vist in 1572 AC
The Interdimensional Library of Xoligsisar is a pocket-realm within Xoligsisar's Dream. The realms is an infinite library, ever expanding outwards with the lich controling its operations from the center.

Purpose / Function

Xoligsisar, an avid collector of books during his line, has collected a near infinite amount of knowledge through the eons. He allows the general public to loan item they wish to explore and even make requisitions for items they wished to be found. These loans and requisitions demand the visitor to leave some sort of collateral for the services, which often needs to be something they hold dear. The longer the loan period or the time required to fill a requisition, so does the value of the needed collateral increases.

Architecture

The library is wide and tall as far as the eyes can see, rows of bookcases stretch to infinity up to the sky and away into a white, flat horizon. A consistent light shine all over the place, leaving absolutely no shadows. Some halls, namely the main ones who lead into others, are arched in gold and platinum. Reaching the center by foot from the reception area can take centuries, and such trips are ill-advise for mortals.

Defenses

The library maintains strict rules against teleportation. This rule has been put in place not only in order to deter thieves, but also to encourage a feeling of exploration in visitors who have to walk through the unknown aisles and passages of the vast library.
