The Free Cities Board of Directors is a group of the Free Cities' most prominent figures who gather once every 10 years to decide on trade laws, taxation, tariffs and other geopolitical and global matters.   The board is comprised of the cities' most wealthy trade families, the standing mayors and various other influential figures. The board is regarded more as a mediation ground for the rich and powerful rather than a council of law and each city is relatively free to follow its own laws and costumes.
