Enchantment spells affect the minds of others, influencing or controlling their behavior. A Wizard who specializes in enchantment is known as an enchanter, with the female version referred to as an enchantress.  

Subschools

  • Affinity

    Affinity spells include spells that make the target regard the caster as their friend, or at the very least convince them that their goals align with the caster's.
  • Compulsion

    Spells of this kind force the target to do something they are otherwise not willing to do.
  • Compliance

    Spells of this kind convince their target that they are acting on their own volition.
  • Intrusion

    Intrusive spells are spells that grant their caster active access to another's mind.
  • Psychosoma

    Psychosomatic spells can either refer to spells that passively affect mental faculties or spells that trigger a response in one's mind, such as fear, neausea, and most notiously a large variety of somatic syndrom disorders
