The Void Beyond Space is a Transative Plane that exists around and beyond the realms of the Divine Domains. However, due to its strange nature, there are said to be planes far beyond the realms that hold ancient and powerful creatures.

Description

The Void is a strange plane. At times it is considered just a black void of nothingness that allows for travel but nothing at all that exists. However, it has been noted that there are pockets of realms that exist beyond the Divine Domains. Some claim that these are the creations of those who dream within the borders of the void, while others are strange creatures who seem to have inhabited in The Void since before existence.
It is often said that those who travel out to The Void can see remnants of strange dreams and nightmares. Almost as if fragments of reality have split into these strange parts of the world. There is an almost eternal calling out from strange ancient creatures that exist within The Void, almost as if something malignant is trying to break into the reality of the Material Plane.

Inhabitants

Ancient civilizations have been known to reside within The Void, particularly in these pockets of matter and existence. This is the origin of many Aberrations and the strange unusual nature of many different types of creatures and flora. As a result, there are politics and relationships between many of these civlizations, this includes the times when many have gained dominion over others .
Some examples of creatures that hail from The Void include:

• Beholders
• Mind Flayers
• Aboleth

History

While much of the history of The Void is unknown there are many scholars who have theorized about the nature of the plane and the inhabitants from within it.
Some religious scholars have theorized that both Xhakna and Marcada originated from deep within The Void before their arrival during The Shatter. While this has never been confirmed, some of the strange nature of the two and their unique forms seem to indicate that they have an aberrant nature.
During The Fall to the Void, Azrovil was inflicted by the essence of an ancient force from The Void. This brought him low as he slowly was eaten away by the powerful essence of this creature until his former light was dimmed until it was a pitch-black darkness. This powerful entity has not been named or even recognized, but it seems that it still retains an immense power over Azrovil and still influences him.
