Ancient Atlantean Language in Lyra | World Anvil

Ancient Atlantean

Ancient Atlantean is the written and spoken language of the ruined Lyrian civilization. A civilization that is considered to have spanned most of the planet before their communal ascension to godhood. Writings of the language can be found carved in tablets, jewelry, ancient ruined sites and in some occassions in glass made, vaccum sealed cylinders including rolled hight quality glossy and robust type of paper in them.

Althought the exact pronounciation of the language is not known, many languages across the world use parts of it so the pronounciation in many cases can be extrapolated. It is rumoured that the creators of the language had in fact different physiology that allowed them to vocalise in different ways than the modern Anthros and the prevailing theory was that "High Lyrian" was almost a sang rather than spoken language.
