Jamal Sands
Jamal is the bastard son of Anhara Seelon, the Qel'tath of House Seelon. More than likely, his biological father is Auruh, but due to the lack of status he can't claim full parantage without taking away many of Jamal's rights.
Physical Description
Apparel & Accessories
As a compromise between his different levels of social status, Jamal should wear a kaftan. In reality, he mostly wears head-wraps, a loose tunic, and comfortable trousers. While not allowed to wear any formal symbols of his House, he usually has an embroidered version of its crest.

Personal history
While, for political reasons, Jamal isn't something talked about much, he still lives in the Jewel Palace and is taken care of by those working there. He will live his life with a small pension, traditionally given to bastards as payment as to not draw attention to themselves. But for now, he's just a kid attempting to find his place in the world and avoiding his teachers in favour of just playing with the other kids of the household.
Education
While Jamal isn't technically nobility, he is given the scholarly education as if he was. This is mostly because his mother insists on it rather than something he could expect to receive. Some have hopes he might seek out the arcane arts when he comes of age, but this is far from certain.
Intellectual Characteristics
With his mother being known for her cunning and ability to think outside the box, and his likely father being one of both spiritual and physical prowess, it's not difficult to see why the boy is always more keen to explore than to dwell on things. He is always questioning and finding creative ways around anything in his way.
