Lihpglūirinai
Assaulter of Monsters
Lihpglūirinai is a profession that originated from the Inquisition of Athe and their efforts to purge the world of monstrous creatures, such as the aberati, who threatened their communities and all of mankind. The term used to exclusively refer to those within the organisation who dedicated their lives in defence of the innocent from the horrors that lurked across the world, but it was adopted later by other groups and is now used to refer to all those who have committed their lives to fighting the aberati from a self-sacrificing love of mankind and those close to them. The term Lihpglūirinai is purely Aprēan, derived from Aiterean, the language of the faith, and the literal meaning is monster-assaulter. People from other cultures and religions have individuals who have also sworn to rid the world of evil, but they go by different names.
Tales and Dreams
Tales of the valiant deeds of notable lihpglūirinai are popular, especially among young men and boys. These stories emphasise virtuous struggles again seemingly impossible odds, where a monster-hunter’s love for their home, family, and faith allows them to overcome adversity and triumph over a clear evil that threatens all that is good and loving in the world. Songs of their deeds are sung in warm halls, and talented authors have taken inspiration from them, providing compelling plots and in-depth investigates the lives of such figures in their novels. Although naturally, the books and songs tend to over-romanticise such an otherwise gruelling life of danger and self-sacrifice. Nevertheless, there are many who look up to them, and young lads often dream of taking up the sword and shield in defence of those around them. Some might consider it a fine way to prove one’s manhood and strength, while others do it for the love of someone they care about, out of a genuine fear for the safety of their home community, or from an innate love of his people and hatred of the eternal enemy.

Nice one! I really like the thing about the writing and romanticizing of the hard life, it's a nice touch!
