Half-Eaglor

Introduction

Half-Eaglors are the offspring of Eaglors and other races, typically born to parents who were either exiled or outcasts from their tribes. These individuals rarely grow up within Eaglor society and instead lead lives in the more populated regions of Kena'an. The strong bond between their Eaglor parent and nature, however, remains a part of their heritage, even if they were not raised in the traditional ways of the Eaglors. Often viewed as outsiders by their Eaglor kin, Half-Eaglors tend to forge their own paths, blending the wisdom and grace of their avian ancestors with the flexibility and resilience of their non-Eaglor parent.

Appearance

Physically, Half-Eaglors resemble their Eaglor parent in some ways but often exhibit more human-like features. They generally have sharp eyes—sometimes piercing yellow or green—that hint at their avian lineage, but their frames tend to be less imposing than full-blooded Eaglors. Half-Eaglors have wings, though they are often smaller and less developed than a full Eaglor's, making flight more difficult or limited. Instead of true flight, Half-Eaglors possess the ability to glide for short distances. Their hands and feet still bear the sharp talons of their ancestors, although they may appear less pronounced. Their skin is typically a tan or brown hue, reflecting the earthy tones of the mountain peaks, though their hair may range from dark shades to light, depending on the other parent’s heritage.

Alignment and Religion

Because Half-Eaglors are raised outside of the rigid traditions of their tribes, they tend to be more flexible in their worldview. While they may inherit some of the Eaglors’ reverence for nature, they are more likely to embrace a range of alignments, often aligning more with neutrality or good, but sometimes leaning towards chaos depending on their upbringing. Most Half-Eaglors lack the deep spiritual devotion of the Eaglors, but they retain an appreciation for the natural world and can still have a strong connection to the divine forces that govern Kena'an.

Half-Eaglors are typically raised outside the spiritual guidance of the Eaglor tribes and may not actively follow Verana or Idril. However, some still revere these deities or seek other gods that embody aspects of nature or balance.
