Colm O'Beaglaoich Character in The Works of Johannes T. Evans | World Anvil

Colm O'Beaglaoich

Colm landed in the Atlantic Ocean in 1732 off the coast of South Kerry, where Asmodeus came to pull him out of the water, coughing and almost drowning.    Colm is broad and stocky, pale but not in the porcelain way that JP is, instead with darker, colder undertones and some freckles and moles scattered on his face and especially over his shoulders. He has big, wide shoulders and arms, thick legs, and his nose was visibly broken at one time. He is short, with chestnut coloured curls and dark eyes.   The fragment of the Host he’s kept with him most is his sense of empathy. Unlike JP, who’s more focused on ideals, Colm is more centred around people, how they feel.   Colm is a practising Catholic. He goes to Mass every week, and volunteers a good deal of his hours per week at church, as well as at local nurseries and soup kitchens.
