Angel
In the aftermath of the Great Fall, every single angel in the Host - barring Asmodeus - Fell from that dimension. Because of the complete difference in the function of time between the Host and Earth respectively, however, although the Great Fall happened all at once, angels fall to Earth one by one.
Some years, one or two angels will Fall; some years, none will Fall at all; other years, a dozen angels will. The only person who seems to have an awareness in advance of when and where angels will fall is Asmodeus, although the precise nature of how he does so is one he keeps secret. Most angels Fall amongst humans, and Asmodeus is almost always the first other angel they meet.
Angels ordinarily share certain traits in their DNA, although their DNA mostly just seems like a modified set of human genomes: each angel carries some traits of the Host over with them when they Fall. Some angels have physical signs of their being - they command fire or water; they carry light, bird-like bones and wings; they have a preponderance of eyes. Most have internal powers - empathy or telepathy, the ability to heal wounds, etc. Although there are certain correlations between celestial manifestations and previous rank (e.g. angels (infantry) often have wings; the eye-manifestation is a tendency of ophanim; music-related power, esp song, is common in seraphim), the actual nature of celestial manifestation seems to be relatively random.
There is a global Celestial Association, with whom every angel is registered upon their Fall, although no angel is required to remain in contact with them. The Celestial Association, and the associated Museum of Celestial History, is based out of Harare, in Zimbabwe.
