The city of Yllvalion was founded by the Knights of Yggdrasil to serve as the seat of the Northern Outposts. These outposts were formed to create a barrier between the Neither Tundra, where the Giants lived, and the Elven Forest. This city and its fortress would serve as a place of protection for many millennia.
