Aquaculturist Malula Tealeaf
Glass containers of all sizes line the walls of a small hut, their interiors shining with the refracted light of the scales of the fish that swim inside. Blues, greens, silvers, and other colors bathe the room in a soft light, shifting and moving as if below the waves of a gentle ocean. Some of the containers range in size from ones large enough to hold a
Clay Giant to ones smaller than the fist of a child. Each one houses a different fish, a different species to study and write about.
Little sound echoes through the room except for the scratching of a quill on parchment. A
Halfling sits bent over her work, filling tables with numbers in the language of her people, before quickly flipping to another page and translating her work in to other languages. The tables are full of numbers, lengths, weights, days in captivity, information on each of the fish that move within their glass homes.
Malula Tealeaf spends her days lost in her notes and observations, much like her husband and daughter do. Her specialty is the fish, learning about them, cultivating them, expanding the possibilities of aquaculture that can only be found in the
Little Greenwood. Her notes on many of the species of the forest have lead to books and further research, things that she does not wish to bother herself with. She chooses to spend time with her fish, caring for them and learning about them, for no book can give the experience of caring for another creature like she does.

Fish! <3 I love the idea of all the fish swimming around happily and being studied. Reminds me of my own fish tanks.
