Icno's haven

Icno's sanctuary, an old ruined temple turned into a haven for Icno, an endangered, flying animal, that is being captured for its ability to fly and hunted down for their magical blood.

Purpose / Function

This building was originally a temple to praise Insertname(icno's haven), the god of the earth. After the temple was ruined, it became a sanctuary for Icno to cure ill Icno or hurt Icno and give them a place to stay and be safe and sound.

Alterations

Some of the ruined bedrooms were restored to fit all people that live here, taking care of Icno. The rest of the rooms where kept ruined, but part of the surrounding forest was converted to pens where the Icnos could sleep, protected from rain, as their big size would make they destroy parts of the ruins if their pens were inside of it.

History

Constructed around a monolith and first being a temple to Insertname(icno's haven), the god of the earth, this temple inhabitants disappeared and with time and the temple turned into a ruin. Centuries after, when one Icno's rider and defensor of them found this place, decided to turn this remote ruin into a place where Icnos could be safe. They convinced a group of people to turn this place into a sanctuary to cure ill Icno or hurt Icno and give them a place to stay and be safe and sound.
Nowadays, more than five family of Icno live here, and over 20 different Icno come here to rest from time to time. Each year, new Icno come for their first time, usually accompanied by another Icno that has already been here.

Tourism

The only tourists of this place are Icno that come here to rest during their travels. Though, the protectors of Icno have a problem, from time to time, with unexpected visitants that Icno took here. While most times they are good people and stayed, there have been cases that these visitants came with dark intentions such as killing these creatures (aiming mostly to females or injured ones).
