The Library of Alexandria Building / Landmark in Brocéliande | World Anvil

The Library of Alexandria

Knowledge is power and this library holds all the knowledge of all the known worlds. Without it The Management, The Librarians, The Scholars, The Scribes and many, many The Adventurers would all be bereft!!!! Also, there would be a lot less The's in the world and that would be terrible.
The Library of Alexandria is its own little ecosystem, from the messenger birds to the cats that prowl the lower halls to keep out the rats and mice and any other creatures who'd want to enter the library to nibble on the books. It's always in a state of decay and rebuilding, so please excuse the ramblings of a billion authors in a billion times and the madness it takes to categorise all of them.
