The city of Allura

Much has been written about the city of Allura and the Seven Seats of Power, and much has been misunderstood. When Allura was a thriving epicentre of arts, commerce and more importantly had the nicest teashops with the fluffiest scones and most exotic selection of teas, It was considered that sitting on the Seven Chairs of Power is an amazing accomplishment.   This is not because the chairs had any specific powerful properties, or magic. Of course not. It was because of the people who weilded the power across all of Broceliande meeting in those chairs to change the fate of the world. Allura was chosen as a seat of power because of it's central location topside and between the Underworld, FaerLand, Dream City, Which Place, the Library of Alexandria and some of the larger Kingdoms.
  • King Hades
  • Queen of the Fae (This has not always been the beloved and most wonderful of fae rulers, Persephone the Great)
  • Beloss
  • Head of the Witches Union
  • King of Kings representative (rotation)
  • Head Librarian of the Library of Alexandria (theoretically a rotation of academics but not in practice)
  • Fairy Godmothers - "power to the people—but not really"
Although, of course, not all historians agree.
Anyone who thinks that the Seven Chairs of Power were named such for their location within a board room on what had been the most powerful city in Broceliande is fooling themselves. Those chairs hold immense power, and it is important we find them immediately
— famous Historian Jeremy B. Ramy

Architecture

Allura was known for it's stunning archetecture. Glass towers reaching up as high as the clouds. A stairway leading all the way to the sky so that Dream City could more easily unload its wares. Stone monuments and marble palaces that would take the breath away, alongside running water and fountains large enough for the largest of dragons to drink from.   Others argue that the archetecture of the region has been somewhat confused with the original architecture of Dream City
The old seat of power that was Allura is now the Deadlands.
