The Brillish are the human inhabitants of the island of Bril, a country in the north of the continent of Caia. Settlements are mainly spread out along the coastlines, the centre of the country being characterised by steep hills and sharp rocks - though some still find their home there.
Despite prolonged colonisation, recent civil war and an unstable government, they are a proud people, holding on tightly to their ancient cultural traditions. In general, these traditions have mixed with those of their colonisers and are quite different than what they used to be. The majority of the country worships Nereus, one of the five Elemental Monarchs, their old gods long forgotten.
