The Antarish

The Antarish are the human inhabitants of the island of Antari in northern Caia. They are a population of about four hundred people, ruled by a Antari council of elders. They have three permanent settlements on the island, and consider the land sacred.
In the winter months, when the Ilwyrikan Sea is frozen over, the Antarish collect supplies from mainland Ilwyrika, including wood, coal, iron, and fresh crops. They are not an agricultural society and rely mostly on hunting and fishing.
